Printable CM Rulers

You may already know by now that a centimeter is made out of 10 mm. Most used printable rulers have at least on one side cm markings, even whether you are using one that’s made out of wood or steel. When solving mostly math or physics problems, you will have to use at least a centimeter ruler. If you just started learning to measure objects you can read more about “How to read a ruler” in order to have a better idea how it works. You can also check out the metric system conversion table from mm > cm > dm > m. This also applies in reverse.

The printable ruler templates we have in this section come in different colors, patterns and markings. Some are yellow, blue or gray, others have a wooden and steel textures and some have a light color surrounded by a thick border. The length also varies, 15 cm, ~ 18 cm, 20 cm and 30 cm. So you can get a small one that can fit in your pocket or a big one for your schoolbag.

To be able to draw straight lines it is advisable to either print the templates on a thicker piece of paper or just glue it on a piece of cardboard. This way your measuring tool will be sturdier and will not break that easy. You can always choose to print the mm rulers on plastic film in order to get a transparent surface.
